Late Bloomer

Cindy in the Wild

I finally got a good picture of Cindy. She hates when I try to take pictures of her. She is actually much sweeter than she looks here. Kinda...

Spring Returns

Two days ago it got really cold here. Everyone thought that Spring was here and then, in came another cold front. Today the sun was out, the temp. rose and it is amazing outside. My friend Nancy gave me a huge beautiful pot of all kinds of flowers a few weeks ago. This one opened up over the weekend and looks so alive and perfect. People are so busy that they forget to stop and see simple miracles like this flower. It kinda makes you realize how awesome our world is. Wow, am I in a cheezie mood today...

Scooter and the Trolls

At Christmas my Family always exchanges $5.00 gifts. It sounds like we are all cheap, but it is not really because of the money. You would be suprised what neat things you can find for someone for 5 bucks. The great thing is that is takes the stress out of buying gifts and we all just have a good time. Last Christmas, my Mom gave me these little Trolls for my backyard. I really like them. They always look so happy and trollish.

Cindy & Scooter

Cindy is my other dog. Cindy is about 10 years old and as you might can tell, she is 100% Poodle. Cindy is a good dog, except when she decides that she wants to bite you, growl at you, or that she hates you and would like to see you suffer. The rest of the time she is so sweet:) When Scooter came here, I was afraid that Cindy would eat him. Luckily, she failed, but it was not for lack of trying!!!!

Cindy Interrupted

Scooter is always trying to get Cindy to play. All in all, I really think that Cindy handles Scooter pretty good. She plays with him most of the time, but sometimes she tells him to settle down and shut-up. I mean, she doen't say shut-up, but Cindy's growl is worth a thousand words...

Scooter's First Hair Cut

The lady who cut his hair put a cute little red bandana around his neck that was covered with puppy paws. Scooter liked it, so he ate it.

Scooter's Little Brother Barkley

Barkley is a very tiny dog, so he likes to climb to high places where he can see all that is going on below and plan his next attack! Here, we see him poised and ready to go for the kill...

Baby Scooter

This was taken Christmas Eve. Scooter had fallen asleep on the couch after an evening of chewing on friends and family...

Something Under the Table

Scooter emerges from under the table with a twinkle and a bit of sleep in his eye...

Scooter's Favorite Thing

This is Scooter during his first week here, making himself at home...

Scooter

Scooter came to live with me on December 1, 2004. He weighed about 3 pounds and looked like a little powder puff. Scooter used to live in an Animal Shelter with his brother Barkley, who now lives with my Mom. My mother went to visit the shelter and saw them and knew that they belonged with us. They are both Chihuahua/Poodle mix. Scooter is a little bit more poodle and Barkley is a bit more Chihuahua. They are both a little bit rotten.

When mom first saw them, Scooter was jumping on all the other puppies and acting nuts, while Barkley was over by himself in the corner looking scared and fragile. As it turns out, Barkley is about as fragile as a landmine. He is one little bundle of energy and psycho. Scooter on the other hand is sweet and passive and really a bit more kitty-like than puppy-like.

On this page I hope to post all kind of pics and stories and stuff about Scooter and his life and adventures as he grows and learns and chews.
